What will I receive as part of the Fence Dynamics Franchise system?
As a new fencing franchisee, Fence Dynamics will provide you with:
- Headquarters-based training lasting up to one week;
- A one-day owner training session;
- Five days of on-site training during your first 30 days of operations;
- A copy of our confidential Operations Manual to assist you in running your business on a day-to-day basis.
What type of prior experience do I need to have?
The beauty of a Fence Dynamics Franchise is that you’re not required to have any specific experience in the fencing industry prior to joining our program. You and/or your operations manager should, however, have solid sales and customer service skills, ample business management experience, and good supervisory skills. These will help you to develop a strong sales and operations team. We do prefer to work with owner-operators who will commit to being hands-on with the daily management of the business.

How much will the Fence Dynamics Franchise investment cost me?
The projected initial investment range for a single startup location is between $110,000.00 and $154,100. This amount includes the upfront franchise fee of $30,000.00 (reduced for qualified military veterans). As with any new business venture, it’s important that you have the capital needed to adequately fund your new fencing franchise.
Are there other ongoing fees paid to the franchisor?
Franchisees pay royalties to Fence Dynamics at a rate of 6% of gross sales. These monies allow us to fund our ongoing franchise support services, as well as the continued development of consumer services and product selections, marketing tools, training programs, and systems upgrades. Franchisees will also pay a technology fee equal to $150.00 per month to Fence Dynamics.

What about advertising fees and costs?
Fence Dynamics Franchisees are required to spend a minimum of 2% of revenues on local marketing within your protected territory. Franchisees also contribute up to 2% of gross revenues into the system marketing fund. These monies are used to develop and maintain marketing strategies to promote the Fence Dynamics brand, as well as funding the creative costs to develop local franchise marketing materials and campaigns.
Is franchise financing available?
Fence Dynamics does not offer direct financing to franchisees. However, we may be able to refer you to third-party vendors that specialize in providing financing or lending resources to franchisee startups. These referrals are offered on a case-by-case basis.
What is the term of the franchise agreement?
The initial term of your Fence Dynamics Franchise agreement is five years, with 3 successor term options like it states in Item 17 of the FDD.

How do I get started?
Next steps would include your completion of our Confidential Information Request Form (CIRF). Following this would be Discovery Day, at which time you would visit our corporate headquarters and view our operations and Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) in person. Discovery Day is a vital aspect of franchisee onboarding, as it involves your meeting with key franchise management staff as well as your chance to see how the fencing industry works.
